OSME Ontario offers these information services so SME’s in particular can better understand how the federal government buys goods and services; how to find bidding opportunities; and how to use available procurement data to identify potential business partners through the www.buyandsell.gc.ca website.
The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME) – Ontario Region was established in August 2006 within Public Services and Procurement Canada to support the Government of Canada’s commitment to a procurement system open to small and medium and regionally based businesses. OSME’s mandate is to ensure fairness, openness and transparency in federal government procurement.
The Government of Canada is committed to giving small and medium enterprises (SMEs) access to compete for government business.
