Rona Lum is a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan.  She concentrates her practice in the many aspects of business-based immigration law, particularly in the medical, pharmaceutical, information technology, engineering, and higher education professions. Ms. Lum earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii, and her Juris Doctor degree from the Michigan State University College of Law.  Ms. Lum is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, International Law Section; American Immigration Lawyers’ Association; Asian American Bar Association of Michigan; and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Ms. Lum is a member of the Congress of Fellows of the Center for International Legal Studies (“CILS”), Salzburg, Austria. She has been a featured speaker on the subject of U.S. Immigration Law at international legal conferences in Salzburg, Austria, Santiago, Chile, Johannesburg, South Africa, and the Eotvos Lorand University, Faculty of Law in Budapest, Hungary. Ms. Lum is Adjunct Faculty at Baker College, Auburn Hills, Michigan, instructing in the area of Immigration Law for the Bachelor’s degree program in Paralegal Studies.  She also serves on the Advisory Council for the Paralegal Studies program. The Law Offices of Rona M. Lum has been certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) since November 2009
